Yeah, was pretty much egged on to posting to this old fart of a journal after reading QuentinCoyote's most recent entry on here regarding his growing disillusionment with twitter and it's charachter limit seemingly abridging/eradicating fluid correspondence between it's endusers...
So, yay. Here i am, making the rare LJ post to let you know i'm still pottering about (stahp, ron, stahp!) on the web and still doing ok. Some stuff went down the last couple of years - a move, deaths in the fam, other assorted goodies and things - but it's all good ATM until the next calamity bristles along.
But anyway, i'm hoping that some of you who're still following here are still about - not sure how many of you still use this thing, but it's worth a shot to at least try to send updates on life in the furst lane from this end of the connection (as detached and impersonal it still may be). Would rather still be using my Asus laptop (it went kerblooey back in may) instead of this cruddy-ass, slow-as-balls iPad, though (can't even multitask on the fuckin' thing). At least i could use SL on it.
